Recording Date
An engineer arrives from one to three hours prior to the musicians' call (be it a performance or closed session) to prepare for the soundcheck, which must occur before the hall is opened for audience seating (if the recording is of a performance).
The concert or session is recorded and the audio data is then brought back to the editing suite. Once editing has been completed, the masters are submitted to the representative of the group upon receipt of final payment.
