Biography
Hello and welcome. My name is Stan Cyprys and here is a little background information. I was born and raised in Montreal and completed my B.Mus at McGill University in 1980. While at McGill I studied at the Electronic Music Studio which was the precursor to their now famous recording program. This makes me sound rather ancient but there you have it, working with young talent keeps me young at heart. While in Montreal I worked as a musician and producer throughout the 80's and early 90's including playing and recording various projects for the CBC and HBO networks. Since moving my family to Aurora, Ontario in the late 90's I have been working as an independent location recording engineer with orchestras, choirs, opera singers, solo artists and bands. Happily, I have not yet had to use pitch correction software.
